Welcome the all-new 2020 Lincoln Corsair launched by the luxury carmaker that made its debut in NYIAS. Its design is basically derived from the Navigator SUV and Aviator. However, this Lincoln Corsair has more athletic quality and is streamlined in a better way. In addition to this, a roof is present that drops down into slit-like taillights. The front part has grille that all Lincoln has used across its lineup.
There is a platform underneath the sheet metal which is called C2. This is a modular design that increases the rigidity and torsion. It also supports the alternative power trains that should prove as an advantage to the Corsair. It consists of a standard 2-l turbocharged inline-4 which is claimed to deliver approx 250 hp and 275 pound-ft of torque.
Also, coming up is a hybrid model. The latest model of Ford i.e., Escape has hybrid as well as plug-in hybrid options. Corsair will also have some special handy features which will include active noise control, wireless charging, 14-speaker revel audio system, WI-Fi and a head-up display. Moreover, there will be a set of electronic driver aids consisting of collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind spot, rearview camera and pedestrian warning.
2020 Lincoln Corsair will be built in Ford’s Assembly Plant in Louisville, Kentucky and is soon going to release. Prices will also be declared near to its market launch.
