Apple held its yearly World Wide Developers Conference in San Jose, California, and it made a few noteworthy declarations about a large number of its products. Notwithstanding the presentation of another 6K show and a first look at iOS13 in Dark Mode, Apple reported both CarPlay and Maps have been intensely overhauled.
Apple is now updating the CarPlay calender application to add more information, and the Music application to have more noticeably including collection album art, top choices, and new music revelation. Siri will presently work with third-party navigation and music applications, and Apple says it’s bringing full hands-free “Hey Siri” support that will utilize a vehicle’s built-in in microphone.
Apple announced CarPlay will be able to automatically adjust to more screen sizes and resolutions than it currently supports, too. The new CarPlay will likewise include a “Do Not Disturb While Driving” mode that stops notifications, expanding on the feature that is at present on iPhones.
