After 51 Years, Jaguar XJ Sedan Production Will End in July

June 4, 2019/Auto Dealer Deals

Jaguar Land Rover will be ending XJ production July 5 after 51 years. The car is controlled by six-, eight-, and 12-chamber engines, and for a brief span during the 1970s, it was accessible as a swanky two-door luxury car.

More than 120,000 XJ cars have been built since its launch about 10 years ago, yet its present deals have been disappointing. The good news is that a few months back at the New York Auto Show, Jaguar design chief Ian Callum told  that “the XJ will be replaced” by a “like-size” car.

It’s trusted that the XJ will return in 2020 as a battery-electric vehicle, which would give it a heavy zero-outflows advantage over different leaders like the Audi A8, BMW 8 Series, Lexus LS and Mercedes-Benz S-Class.
